This was my original portfolio homepage design www.wsu.edu/~harusell/proj5/
A compilation of google-image-search images that are lumped into color groups by search results. I searched my name, elementary school, mom’s maiden name, dad’s name, and hometown. It looks like random images, but they all all derived from a part of me. (yes, kurt cobain is from my hometown)

‘til death do us part … transformed
Whether you found someone to flirt with for the night, you and your partner are cooking in the morning before work, or you found the love of your vacation … we’re taking smaller steps instead of heading straight for death.

“The truth isn’t the truth until people believe you, and they can’t believe you if they don’t know what your saying, and they can’t know what you’ve saying if they don’t listen to you, and they won’t listen to you if you’re not interesting, and you won’t be interesting until you say things imaginatively, originally, freshly.” —

Bill Bernbach

A DDB founder and one of the industry godfathers. Powerful words like this can carry throughout time and continue to inspire young professionals.

If we believed in the 2012 apocalypse we wouldn’t be in school, we’d stop paying bills and rent & we’d max out multiple credit cards! It will be an amazing day in the media and in culture, to see people’s reactions to what may be the end of the world!

I started with this idea about how hanging missle toe was so akward! Do you really want to kiss everyone who rings the front door just because it’s Decmeber? Then I realized that every holiday had these moments, celebrated with a calendar!

I’m a poor grad student (or at least I can milk that idea for the next couple holiday seasons)
I recently discovered a gem in central Texas, it’s called Hobby Lobby! As I walked up an down every isle in the store (yes I did), I decided to make Longhorn/Texas Christmas ornaments for some of my friends and family.
I spent $8.88 for the supplies to create 6 of these masterpieces. And yes it’s on the gaudy side, but that’s how I roll…
